About
Meet Revatha

Revatha Loghashankar is a College Admissions Coach dedicated to empowering teens to navigate the college admissions process with confidence and achieve their goals.
After over 18 years as a software engineer, Revatha’s passion for student success led her to serve on various high school boards in the San Francisco Bay Area. Beyond her administrative roles, she built strong connections with students, gaining valuable insight into their unique challenges and aspirations. This experience inspired her to support young people more directly in their educational journeys.
Revatha has earned a College Counseling Certificate from UCLA and is a member of both the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA). She also volunteers as a College Coach at ScholarMatch, where she helps first-generation students pursue their college dreams.
With a keen understanding of the dynamics and limited resources of public schools, Revatha recognizes the opportunities and challenges students face. She is attuned to the anxiety and confusion families often feel in today’s complex admissions landscape, particularly immigrant parents unfamiliar with the U.S. undergraduate system. Drawing on personal experience and a deep understanding of the college admissions process, she is committed to alleviating this anxiety through individualized support. Revatha helps students build competitive profiles and develop strategic college application plans that align with their academic strengths, interests, and goals.
Revatha lives in the city of Cupertino with her husband and two sons. One of them is studying Computer Science at UCLA, and the other is a high school junior. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, dancing, traveling, and discovering new cuisines with her family.
